Good Gun Pledge

I pledge to use my firearms for recreational shooting, hunting and/or as a means of protection of my family, others and myself against life threatening situations. I acknowledge a respect for my life and the life of others, I further acknowledge that the safe use and storage of my firearms is my personal responsibility.

Furthermore, I pledge to remove all possible physical indications of my presence when I shoot or hunt so as to minimize the negative impact to the environment.

I agree to strive to be an outstanding member of my community,  to work for its betterment by fostering and performing community service, practicing environmental stewardship, and through cooperation with law enforcement officials to reduce criminal activity.
