About Us

What is the Good Gun Foundation?

The Good Gun Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit  created to encourage gun owners to take a leadership role in community service activities and provide shooter education in the safe and responsible use of firearms. 

A key objective of the foundation is to portray gun owners accurately. as concerned and engaged citizens of their respective communities, conducting themselves honorably, responsibly and ethically in their lives and with their firearms.

Community Service

The Good Gun Foundation provides a great opportunity to demonstrate pride in 'gun ownership" and community commitment while enjoying great fellowship.

Our community service events currently include: a Healthy Kids and Family Safety Expo with over 600 attendees, “Target Hunger” Shoots, “Target Hunger” food drives and our signature volunteer clean-up efforts.

Annually in September, the Good Gun Foundation organizes a large cleanup effort on public lands, fielding hundereds of volunteers at sites in Arizona and Massachusetts. These efforts help increase the awareness that greater prevention efforts against illegal dumping and irresponsible shooting on public lands are desperately needed.
